What is resin bound?

What is tarmac? 

Tar mixed with broken stones. It typically a cheaper option when compared to other materials, is harsh in colour therefore not as aesthetically pleasing.

Tarmac Drawbacks

• Prone to potholing
• Can be soft when laid incorrectly meaning that your car or even a plant pot can indent into the surface! 
• Sinking is common.
• Not weed resistant as the tar and stone is nowhere near as strong as Resin Bound Stone.
• Tarmac frequently bulges after short periods, and always after a reasonable period of time.
• Tarmac is pretty easy to be ripped off on. Often people in that trade knock on the door with "leftover Tarmac from a big job down the road." Never Ever accept this! Even if the price is tempting!
