Trying to maintaining a garden with large trees can be time consuming. Sweeping up the leaves every day that have blown across your garden seems to be an ongoing thing. One way of preventing this is to have the trees chopped down by professional tree surgeon who has the correct tools and machinery to chop down one or more trees in a short amount of time.

We have a separate team of landscapers that are specialist and fully qualified tree surgeons, we have been working with trees of all shapes and sizes for over ten years.

Trees require minimal keeping, but a little sensible pruning can guarantee the tree remains healthy and safe and grows in attractive shapes where needed trees can be topped for safety, aesthetics or to reduced shading. Our team of experts can deal with trees of any size, and in any location, if a tree is close to existing trees or property, we can 'Dismantle/Sectional Fell the tree so as not to damage adjacent trees or property. All sites are cleared of all debris after each job.

Crown Reductions

If your tree has become too large for the area in which it is developing, we can reduce the crown size in-order-to preserve it in attractive shape, more suited to its surroundings.

Tree Felling

Unfortunately, sometimes a tree may become diseased, dead, unsafe or no longer sustainable in its position. In these cases, we can dismantle the tree to ground level.

Stump Grinding

If you need a tree stump wholly removed from the site then stump grinding is often the best method. We have two different size machine to tackle most jobs big or small.

Pollarding Services

If you need to contain the size of your tree, then you may wish to think about pollarding. Pollarding prevents a tree outgrowing its space, can reduce shade cast by the tree and can be necessary to stop the tree hindering wires or street lights.  Once done it will need to be done regularly to keep its shape.

Crown Lifting

Crown lifting is the selective removal of the lower branches of a tree's crown. It increases the distance between the base of the canopy and ground level and is particularly useful in preventing harm to neighbouring structures such as walls, fences or roofs. This type of pruning should if possible be carried out before a tree reaches maturity in-order-to avoid large cuts.

Crown Thinning

We can remove selected branches throughout a tree to reduce the mass which lets more light and wind through the tree. We will focus on any dead, wounded or badly formed branches during this process.
